Fleckney Ladies Learn About Richard III

I recently led another "Richard III" Guided Walk in Leicester.

This time it was for the Forever Young Wives Group of Fleckney.

I showed these ladies the sites associated with this tragic and much maligned young king, who spent his last night in a bed in Leicester, was killed in battle a few miles away near Market Bosworth, and was brought back to Leicester for burial.

As is now known worldwide, his remains have been sensationally discovered at the Greyfriars, and will be reinterred at Leicester Cathedral.

The walk also includes a resume of events leading up to to the Wars of the Roses and Richard`s accession.
