Explore London With Me
Anybody who is fascinated by the historic old city of London (and who in their right mind isn't?) has the opportunity to find out more when I lead two Guided Walks in a few days time.
On Saturday 4th November, there will be two of these walks.
At 1pm, it's "Spitalfields", a little known but very historic area just off the ususal tourst trail. It tends to be ignored by tourists and guides alike. Spitalfields lies where the City meets the East End.
The walk starts outside Liverpool Street Station, in Bishopsgate at the top of the escalators, at 1pm, and takes about two hours.
Then at 5pm, it's "Haunted London", an atmospheric stroll around the quiet streets and alleyways of the City, to hear about the ghosts of old London Town.
This walk starts outside Fenchurch Street Station, in Fenchurch Place, at 5pm, and also takes about two hours.
For each walk, the price is £3.50 per person when paid in advance - but you'll have to put your skates on now. On the day, the price will be £5.50.
