Essex Leisure and Tourism Show

I went once again to the annual Essex Leisure and Tourism Show recently.

For the second year running, the show was held at the Five Lakes Hotel and Resort at Tolleshunt Knights, and always it was excellently organised by Carol Jolly.

It is particularly rewarding to visit this show, because smaller destinations are able to exhibit, as opposed to just the very big ones which can be seen at the major national shows.

As always, of course, I was able to chat with lots of friends old and new.

A courtesy bus had been arranged to take those of us coming by train from Witham, and this bus later took us for a visit to the fascinating Combined Services Museum at Maldon.
