Cricket Star
A new reality TV show has been devised, entitled "Cricket Star".
The show is being put together by Investors in Cricket. It is the brainchild of Simon Hughes, the former Middlesex bowler, who has made a new career for himself as a Test match analyst on TV.
Young cricketers in India, a big cricket playing country, have been encouraged to enter, and these have been whittled down to a manageable number.
These will be spending time at Grace Road, the home of Leicestershire County Cricket Club, under the auspices of the county's Chief Coach Tim Boon and his team.
The ultimate winner will be given a year's contract with Leicestershire.
A name bandied about as hostess is Shilpa Shetty, undoubtedly beautiful and said to be a big Bollywood star. She is now, of course, very famous as a result of her "shock" victory in Celebrity Big Brother.
This can only raise the profile of cricket in general, and the Leicestershire club in general.
