Cricket Society AGM
I made an extra visit to Grace Road recently, for the Annual General Meeting of the Leicestershire Cricket Society.
Although we struggle to get new members at the Cricket Club itself, the Cricket Society (for those of us who like to keep in touch during the close season) is thriving.
There have been a number of occasions when a visiting speaker comments that he never saw that many people when he played at the ground!
I don`t personally have an position in the Society, being simply a member. However, I have given the vote of thanks on a number of occasions.
