Coach Trip to Lorna Doone Country
I went as a passenger on a Woods Coaches trip recently. Woods are the Leicester company from whom I hire coaches for my own excursions. This time it was to Lorna Doone Country.
After leaving St. Margarets Bus Station as normal, we made our way along the motorways until we reached Strensham Services, where we made a coffee stop.
Our first proper stop was at the seaside resort of Minehead, where it was nice to stroll along the seafront.
From there we moved along the edge of Exmoor, and stopped briefly at County Gate, with its lovely views.
Then it was on to prettyLynmouth. Some of us (including me) took the Cliff Lift up to Lynton.
The final stop of the day was at the exquisite little village of Exford, and then the journey home, making a comfort stop at Strensham.
Of course I enjoyed it. I always do!
