Cirencester and Stow-on-the Wold

I went recently as a passenger on a Coach Tour organised by Woods Coaches of Leicester, the company from whom I hire coaches for my own excursions.

This time it was to Cirencester and Stow-on-the-Wold.

On our way down into the Cotswolds, we made a stop at Moreton-in-Marsh. Plenty of tea shops there!

Then we had time at Cirencester. This splendid town was very important in Roman times, and the parish church, with its amazing three storey porch, is amazing.

From there, we went on to Stow-on-the-Wold, and were able to enjoy it as dusk fell.
