A Visit to Moreton-in-Marsh
Once again, I went on a Woods Coaches trip recently, this time to Moreton-in-Marsh.
Yes, I do enjoy going on other people's trips. Other passengers often ask if I am sussing out the area in preparation for one of my own trips. Well, the answer is "no, not particularly". I just like going to places, and it's nice to sometimes just be taken, rather than being in charge!
Having left St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester, we made our way down into Gloucestershire.
The market, which takes place along the main street which is actually the Fosse Way, was in full swing.
While there, I visited the splendid tea shop named Tillys for coffee and a toasted teacake. Excellent!
I also amused myself looking round the town, and called in at the historic Royal White Hart Hotel, where an antiques fair was being held, and chatted to the man selling old maps, which I can sit and look at for hours, given half a chance.
Trips of my own coming up shortly include "Colchester", "Free Mystery Tour", "Staffordshire Borders Tour" and "York".
