A Taste of Leicestershire Coach Tour
I led a Coach Tour recently for a dementia group from Coventry and Atherstone.
It was "A Taste of Leicestershire", which I run from time to time in association with GreatDays.
Picking up the group at Wanlip Services, I took them through the picturesque High Leicestershire and made a brief stop at Hallaton, before going to Scalford Hall for lunch.
Then it was a brief hop to Melton Mowbray, where I gave a brief talk about pork pies and Stilton, and each of the group was given a Dickinson and Morris pork pie.
This is always a popular trip.
