St. Mary Magdalene`s Church (Waltham-on-the-Wolds)
St. Mary Magdalene is the parish church of the village of Waltham-on-the-Wolds in Leicestershire.
It is a large church, with a crossing tower and spire.
Parts of the church date back to the 13th century. There are Norman doorways.
The sedilia and piscina are from the Decorated period, while the font is Norman.
There was considerable damage done to the crocketed spire in the 2008 earthquake, and it is therefore to be replaced.
