Holy Trinity Church (Staunton Harold)
Holy Trinity is the parish church of the Leicestershire village of Staunton Harold.
The group, with Staunton Harold Hall and lake, is outstandingly beautiful.
It is the only complete survival of a church built during the Commonwealth, having been founded in 1653 by Sir Robert Shirley as an act of defiance.
Holy Trinity is a Gothic church, whose West tower has battlements and pinnacles.
The furnishings, however, are Jacobean.
