Little Stambridge Hall (Stambridge)
Little Stambridge Hall is an old house at Stambridge in Essex.
Properly it is in Little Stambridge, but most of the rest of this little village has disappeared over the last century.
The hall can be found down a long lane called Little Stambridge Hall Lane.
It has a quite impressive five bay Georgian front, but this is just the front, and hides the fact that the house is really 16th century.
In a wooded part of the grounds, a few stones are all that remains of the parish church, demolished in 1880.
