Spalding Station (Spalding)

Spalding Station is the railway station that serves the Lincolnshire town of Spalding.

It is on a line which connects Peterborough with Lincoln.

Trains run from Peterborough, and continue to Sleaford, Ruskington and Lincoln.

Spalding was once an important junction.

One line ran to Surfleet, Kirton and Boston.

Another ran to Bourne, Castle Bytham and Saxby.

Yet another ran to Holbeach, Long Sutton and Kings Lynn.

And another still went to Cowbit, Guyhirn and March.
