Aireville Park (Skipton)
Aireville Park is an urban park at Skipton in North Yorkshire.
The main entrance is in Gargrave Road.
Dating back to the 1830s, the park was part of the Aireville Estate, which was owned by the Dewhurst family, who also owned the Belle Vue cotton mills in Skipton.
It passed into the hands of Skipton Corporation in 1945, and they added some sporting facilities.
The park covers 20 acres of parkland with many mature trees and a natural amphitheatre.
It is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, and one of the boundaries runs alongside the canal that runs between Leeds (Yorkshire) and Liverpool.
