Sheffield Botanical Gardens (Sheffield)
Sheffield Botanical Gardens are outstanding botanical gardens at Sheffield.
The main entrance is in Clarkehouse Road.
Covering 20 acres, the gardens were laid out in 1836 by the leading Victorian landscape designer and horticulturalist Robert Marnock.
The catalyst for creating the gardens was the formation of the Sheffield Botanical and Horticultural Society in 1833.
There are a number of listed buildings within the gardens.
