Guildhall (Salisbury)

The Guildhall is an interesting civic building in the historic city of Salisbury in Wiltshire.

The entrance is in Fish Row, but the frontage is in the Market Place.

Salisbury's original Guildhall burned down in 1780, and the replacement, donated to the city by the Earl of Radnor, was completed in 1795.

The architects were Taylor and Pilkington, and it contains Raeburn's portrait of the Duke of Queensberry.

The building now houses the Tourist Information Centre.
