Museum of Reading (Reading)

The Museum of Reading is a cultural highlight of the town.

It is situated within the Town Hall, in Blagrave Street.

Among the collection is the replica of the Bayeux Tapestry created in 1885 by the ladies of the Leek Embroidery Society.

There are also many artefacts from the nearby Roman town of Silchester.
