Porthmadog Harbour Station (Porthmadog)

Porthmadog Harbour Station is one of two railway stations serving the Welsh seaside town of Porthmadog. The other is Porthmadog Station.

Porthmadog Harbour is the terminus of the famous Ffestiniog Railway, which was opened by the industrialist William Madock to bring slate from Blaenau Ffestiniog for export.

It is now a very popular tourist line.

There is also a short stretch of the Welsh Highland Railway. The aim is to link this up with the several miles running Southward from Caernarfon.
