Trains from London leave from Fenchurch Street Station and arrive by way of Barking, Upminster and Basildon.
They continue to Leigh, Southend and Shoeburyness.
A loop line runs from Pitsea to Upminster, by way of Tilbury, Grays and Purfleet. This was the original line to Southend.
