Christ Church Picture Gallery is an excellent small gallery in Oxford.
It is situated at Christ Church, in a tasteful modern building which is partly sunken.
Almost all the paintings and drawings are by Italian artists from the 14th to 17th centuries.
It is often remarked that while visitors come for the paintings, they return for the drawings.
