Twycross Zoo (Norton-juxta-Twycross)
Twycross Zoo is a well known zoo at Norton-juxta-Twycross in Leicestershire.
It was founded by the late Molly Badham, in the grounds of the Rectory.
The zoo covers about 40 acres, and houses around a thousand animals.
Twycross Zoo is best known for its comprehensive collection of primates, including the little known bonobos, mankind`s closest relatives.
The original Chimpanzees` Tea Party was held here, for PG Tips.
