Newmarket Station (Newmarket)
Newmarket Station is the railway station serving Newmarket in Suffolk, the headquarters of horse racing.
The station is a fine Baroque building of 1848.
Trains arrive from Cambridge by way of Dullingham.
They continue to Bury St. Edmunds, Stowmarket and Ipswich.
There was once a spur line connecting with the line to Ely.
