Royal Victoria Country Park (Netley)
Royal Victoria Country Park is a historic country park at Netley in Hampshire.
On the shores of Southampton Water, the park consists of over 200 acres of parkland, woodland and beach, and also has a miniature railway.
It is the grounds of the former Netley Hospital, a military hospital built in 1856 and demolished in 1966. A tall viewing tower survives.
The park`s tea rooms and offices were built by he YMCA in 1940, making use of a hundred different timbers from the then British Empire.
