Maidstone Museum (Maidstone)
Maidstone Museum and Bentlif Art Gallery, to give it its full name, is the main museum for Maidstone.
It is situated in St. Faith`s Street.
The museum is housed in Chillington Manor, built by Nicholas Bareham in the 1560s and restored in 1875.
The collection includes tableaux representing the wildlife of the River Medway and its estuary, and finds dropped by pilgrims to Canterbury.
