Cobtree Museum of Kent Life (Maidstone)

The Cobtree Mueum of Kent Life is a small museum at Maidstone in Kent.

It is situated in Lock Lane, Sandling.

The museum is located in three huts, which were used to house the temporary workers engaged in hop picking. They date from the 1930s and were still in use in the 1950s.

The roofs are made of corrugated iron and the floors of concrete, although this would originally have been mud.
