Lowestoft Station (Lowestoft)
Lowestoft Station is the railway station that serves the coastal town of Lowestoft in Suffolk.
It was formerly known as Lowestoft Central, there having been another station named Lowestoft North which closed in 1970.
A branch line reaches Lowestoft from Ipswich, by way of Woodbridge, Wickham Market and Saxmundham.
Another line comes from Norwich, via Reedham and Somerleyton.
There was formerly another line linking Lowestoft with Great Yarmouth, via Gorleston.
