Public Library (Loughborough)

The Public Library in Loughborough is part of the Leicestershire Libraries Services.

It is situated in Granby Street, opposite the lovely Queens Park, and on the site of Island House.

The library is an Edwardian building, with a modern extension.

The original building was the gift of Andrew Carnegie, the Scottish - American industrialist and philanthropist, and is now used as the children`s library, while the extension is now the main library.

There is an extensive Local History section.

Details of Colin Crosby`s Guided Walks and Coach Trips can be found in this library.

In case of difficulty, ask the helpful staff.
