Kentwell Hall (Long Melford)

Kentwell Hall is a historic house on the edge of the picturesque village of Long Melford in Suffolk.

It is a red brick Tudor mansion, surrounded by a wide moat, and has a service building dating back to about 1500. The interior was "improved" in the 1820s by Thomas Hooper.

The hall also has splendid gardens, with much topiary.

Kentwell Hall is widely knon for its recreations of Tudor Lif, which the public can attend.
