St. Marys Church (Kelvedon)

St. Marys Church is the parish church of Kelvedon in Essex.

It is situated in Church Street on the edge of the village, near the railway line and close to Kelvedon Station.

A little of the fabric dates back to the Norman period, but it is mostly of the 13th century. It is mainly built of flint.

The West tower is 14th century, is embattled and has a parapet spire, which is shingled.

There was considerable restoration work in the 1870s.
