Holt Station (Holt)

Holt Station serves the very pleasant market town of Holt in Norfolk.

The station is situated about a mile out of the town.

It is at present the terminus of the North Norfolk Railway, widely known as "The Poppy Line". This is a scenic line which runs, with steam trains, to the seaside resort of Sheringham.

The line formerly ran from Norwich by way of Melton Constable, but closed in 1964.

At the station is a fascinating little railway museum.
