St. Mary`s Church (Harlow)

St. Mary`s Church is the parish church of the old village of Harlow in Essex, now part of Harlow New Town.

Basically a mediaeval church, with a central crossing tower, it has been thoroughly restored on more than one occasion.

There was a rebuilding in 1709, and another in 1878 - 80, giving it the aspect of a Victorian church.

There is a small 14th century stained glass figure of the Virgin Mary, some good monuments and a fine collection of brasses.
