St. Peter and St. Paul Church (Great Bowden)

St. Peter and St. Paul is the parish church of the Leicestershire village of Great Bowden.

It dates back to the 13th century.

The West tower is Decorated, and has a short spire.

There are some fine 15th century wall paintings. One is a Doom painting, while the other seems to be of the Blessed Virgin Mary, probably from an Annunciation scene.

The font cover is Jacobean.
