Towner Art Gallery and Museum (Eastbourne)
The Towner Art Gallery and Museum is one of the main cultural centres of Eastbourne.
It is situated in the High Street, in the Old Town.
Alderman John Towner gave £6,000 and twenty of his own collection of paintings, which formed the basis of the gallery`s collection, in 1920.
Among the collection is a body of work by Eric Ravilious.
