Pickford`s House (Derby)
Pickford`s House is an architect`s house in Derby.
It is situated in Friar Gate, a precious fragment of the old town.
It was built in 1769 by the local architect Joseph Pickford, and is now used as a museum of costume, mostly of the Regency period.
The handsome house features various period rooms, including drawing room, dining room, morning room, bathroom and bedroom.
