Davington Church (Davington)
Davington Church serves the village of Davington, which is effectively a suburb of Faversham in Kent.
The church was originally part of Davington Priory, founded by Fulk de Newenham in 1153 for 26 Benedictine nuns.
At the Dissolution of the monasteries, the church remained standing as it was parochial.
Much of what remains dates from the 12th century, including a rich West doorway.
