Chester Station (Chester)

Chester Station serves the historic city of Chester, and is an important railway junction.

The station was designed by Francis Thompson, with an input from Robert Stephenson, and opened in 1848.

Trains come from Euston Station in London, via Birmingham New Street Station, Stafford and Crewe.

The North Wales Line continues through Flint, Prestatyn, Rhyl, Llandudno Junction and Bangor to Holyhead.

Another line goes to Birkenhead and Liverpool, another to Warrington and yet another to Manchester.
