St. Edwards Church (Castle Donington)

St. Edwards Church, properly St. Edward King and Martyr, is the large parish church of Castle Donington in Leicestershire.

It stands in an impressively large churchyard, between streets known as The Borough and Clapgun Street. The main entrance to the churchyard from The Borough is through an archway.

Much of the fabric is 13th century, and of the Early English style.

The church has sedilia and piscina from this period, and also a squint.

The pulpit was made in a Gothic style in 1852, and there is stained glass from 1902.
