Great St. Mary`s Church (Cambridge)
Great St. Mary`s is the university church in the historic city of Cambridge, fulfilling the needs of both town and gown, as it were.
It is situated almost opposite the magnificent King`s College Chapel.
The tower is 17th century, but the rest of the church is earlier, having been rebuilt towards the end of the 15th century with donations from both Richard III and Henry VII.
The reredos was made by Alan Durst in 1960.
