Buxton Station (Buxton)

Buxton Station is the railway station that serves the spa town and market town of Buxton in Derbyshire.

It was built in 1862, and Sir Joseph Paxton is believed to have advised on the design.

Buxton is now the terminus of a line which runs from Manchester Piccadilly Station via Stockport, New Mills and Chapel-en-le-Frith.

From another station, another line ran to Bakewell and Matlock.
