Brighton Museum and Art Gallery (Brighton)
Brighton Musuem and Art Gallery is an unusual museum at Brighton.
It is situated in Royal Pavilion Gardens.
The museum was designed by Philip Lockwood, the Borough Surveyor in the 1870s, and contains examples of work by many of the leading artists from the last couple of centuries.
Artists and designers represented include John Constable; John Sell Cotman; Salvador Dali; Thomas Gainsborough; Charles Rennie Mackintosh; Hohn Piper; Graham Sutherland; and J.M.W.Turner
