Cotswolds Motor Museum (Bourton-on-the-Water)

The Cotswolds Motor Museum is a popular tourist attraction in the delightful Gloucestershire village of Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds.

The museum is housed in an old water mill on the River Windrush, the lovely little river that flows through the village centre with several bridges, mostly just for foot traffic.

Here are cars and motorcycles from the earliest days up to the 1950s.

There is also an outstanding collection of 800 advertising signs and 8000 pieces of "automobilia", as well as the Childhood Toy Collection.

The museum is the home of Brum, the little car who is the star of a children's TV programme.
