St. Stephen`s Church (Bournemouth)
St. Stephen`s is a fine Victorian church at the Dorset seaside resort of Bournemouth.
It was begun in 1880 as a memorial to Alexander Mordern Bennett, the Vicar of St. Peter`s Church.
The architect was John Loughborough Pearson, and it is one of his finest works, in a restrained Gothic style.
In the North transept is a Madonna and Child by Benjamin Clemens.
