Maud Foster Mill (Boston)
Maud Foster Mill is a very impressive windmill at Boston in Lincolnshire.
One of the finest windmills in England, it is a tower mill with five sails and seven floors, and is situated beside the River Witham, not far from the town centre.
It was built in 1819, and still grinds organic stoneground flour by windpower. Visitors can watch the milling process.
There is a tea room and gift shop.
