Aston Hall (Birmingham)
Aston Hall is a historic house in Birmingham.
It is situated in Trinity Road.
Aston Hall was built in the 17th century by Sir Thomas Holte, who had bought a baronetcy from James I and whose family had earlier profited from the Dissolution of the Monasteries.
It was designed by John Thorpe and completed in the 1630s.
Birmingham Corporation acquired the house 1864 for use as a museum.
The King Charles Room was used by Charles I before the Battle of Edgehill.
