St. Mary`s Church (Aylesbury)

St. Mary`s Church is the parish church of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, and stands in the middle of the town.

The central tower has a little spirelet that dates from about 1650.

The carved chalice font dates from the late 12th century.

There is a canopied tomb commemorating Lady Lee and her children. Lady Lee died in 1584, and the tomb probably came from the ruined St. Peter`s at nearby Quarrendon.
