Abergavenny Station (Abergavenny)
Abergavenny Station is the railway station serving the thriving market town of Abergavenny.
It is on a very useful line which runs through the Welsh Marches.
Trains for Abergavenny come from Cardiff Central via Newport (Gwent), Cwmbran and Pontypool.
They continue through Hereford, Leominster and Ludlow to Shrewsbury.
There were formerly two other stations, Abergavenny Junction and Abergavenny Brecon Road, and another line which ran from Abergavenny along the Heads of the Valleys to Ebbw Vale, Rhymney and Dowlais.
