Woodhall Spa
Woodhall Spa is a small town in Lincolnshire, 6 miles from Horncastle.
It was created as a spa in the 19th century, and reached the height of its fame in the Edwardian period. There are tree lined streets, and woodlands of pine and birch.
The Kinema in the Woods, built in 1922, uses rear projection.
On the edge of the town is the Tower on the Moor, the remains of a 15th century brick tower house.
There is a memorial to 617 Squadron, the Dam Busters.
