Wentworth
Wentworth is a village in South Yorkshire, 4 miles from Rotherham.
Wentworth Woodhouse is an 18th century mansion, built by Flitcroft for the Marquis of Rockingham, and has one of the longest frontages in England at 606 feet.
Wentworth Castle was also built in the 18th century, within sight of the other house, as a result of bitter family rivalry. Its grounds contain follies (including a sham ruined castle) and pleasant gardens.
