Ratcliffe-on-the-Wreake

Ratcliffe-on-the-Wreake is a small village in Leicestershire, 7 miles from Leicester, on the River Wreake.

The parish church has a crocketed spire.

Ratcliffe College was started as a Catholic college for lay boys by Augustus Pugin in the 1840s, and completed by Charles Hansom. The actor-director Patrick McGoohan was an old boy.
