Newington
Newington is a small village in Kent, 5 miles from Folkestone.
St. Nicholas Church dates back to the mediaeval period, and sits in a beautiful churchyard.
The Elham Valley Line, closed in the 1950s, ran through the village, but did not have a station. However, there is now an excellent railway museum in neighbouring Peene.
The Pilgrims` Way also runs through the village.
